In the context of several problems like environmental degradation. migration, poverty, corruption, civil war and ethnic conflicts the Catholic Biblical Association of India (CBAI) reflected on the biblical perspectives of hope during its Golden Jubilee year. This book, Message of Hope for a World in Crisis: Biblical Perspectives, is a collection of papers presented at the CBAI Golden Jubilee National Conference held at Dhyana Ashram, Chennai, on the 10^{th} 11^{dh} and 12^{th} of November 2017. This volume includes fourteen articles and the Final Statement of the Conference. The study of biblical perspectives on hope exposes that the biblical definition of hope is far superior to that of the world. Biblical hope rests on a faith that cannot be moved by circumstances. In these difficult times, when evil often seems to have the upper hand, hope comforts us with the assurance of Christ's Lordship, His victory over sin and His constant presence in our midst.
