The word 'fraternity' has played an important role in shaping cultures and religions. The book that has provided seminal thought or spark that would ignite minds to develop treatises and strategies based on fraternity is the Holy Bible. Recognizing this fact, the members of the Catholic Biblical Association of India (CBAI) gathered at National Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC) in Bangalore from 3rd to 5th November 2022, to deliberate and spell out the biblical perspectives on fraternity. The volume, Fraternity in the Bible: Glimpses and Paradigms, is a collection of papers presented at this Annual Conference 2022. CBAI, established in 1968, provides a national forum for all biblical scholars in India to come together annually to reflect and deliberate on a particular theme. This volume includes twelve articles and the final statement of the CBAI Annual Conference 2022.  These presentations on the theme of fraternity invite us to go beyond the comfortable feeling of togetherness, normal to people of the same blood, same class and caste and same profession, eventually to become people who sacrifice our own interests and even projects for the good of the vulnerable other
